I graduated from Sunset High School in Beaverton, Oregon and then attended Ricks College in Rexbury, Idaho. After a few days being in Rexburg, I met a good old farm boy from Gooding, Idaho and we fell fast and hard in love. We were married four months later in Idaho Falls. After jumping around some Jim finally graduated from GOOD OLD BOISE STATE and got his first job at a trucking company as an accountant! Be nice, accountants are good people!! We have been blessed with three terrific kids who have been the light of our lives and have brought us much joy and happiness! Jake is 36 and married to Jana and they have four boys. Jenny is 32 and married to Matt and they have two boys and two girls. Josh is our baby and he's 27 married to Serena and they have one little boy (so far) named Trey. Our boys kept busy with sports and both earned their Eagle Scout awards after many tears and nagging from their loving mother! Jenny danced and participated in sports as well. All three kids were Valedictorians and received great scholarships graduating from the University of Utah. We love being a Nana and Poppy!!! Being parents was great, but it's much more fun to spoil the grandkids then send them back home for their parents to fix them again! We have lived in Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Washington State, and now Wyoming. I have been a stay at home mom and worked hard in various church callings that have kept me quite busy. It took a little adjusting to figure out what to do when I became an empty nester, but I have found fun hobbies to keep me busy and still visit my kids and grandkids all the time! Jim and I love to 4-wheel, camp, play tennis on our old knees, fish, play games, and spend time with our family! I enjoy reading, crocheting, puzzles, sewing, church work, swimming, vollyball, and being the "fun" and "favorite" Nana! Jim and I have both lost our dad's. My mom lives in Mesquite, NV right now and Jim's mom just passed away on May 22nd. of this year. All my siblings are still alive and kicking and in various stages of parenthood. Kenny has just moved back to Idaho, something I'm quite jealous of! Doug is in Mesquite, NV. and has just retired as the Chief of Police there. Karen will be moving to Washington DC with her military husband. Tacee lives in Oregon, Danny in Washington State, and Tina is in Pocatello, Idaho. Jim and I both love Idaho and would love to end up back there sometime in the future. I have wonderful memories of living in Meridian and growing up with all of you! I am amazed how well things come back to me when I think about my school days there! I have loved catching up on Facebook with many of you and learning about your lives and what you've been up to. I have been truly blest even though I have had my share of surgeries and health issues, I am doing great now and enjoying this time in my life. Jim and I drive down Meridian Main Street when we're in Idaho and it is so fun to still see so many of the same buildings like the Hungry Onion! Our old house has gone through many changes and then tore down and another one took its place. The old grade school still standing and seems so very small when as a first grader it seemed like a fortress!!! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your lives, jobs, families, and all this beautiful world has to offer!
