After attending BSU in the fall of 71, I enlisted in the Army. With my training completed at Fort Ord, CA, and Fort Devens, MA, I was sent to Germany. In 76, was sent for a short stint in Fort Hood, TX, after which I returned to Germany by way of Fort Meade, MD for more school. In 79 the Army and I decided that we had enough of each other and I came back home.
Worked at the VA Hospital in Boise for a year while I considered the future. In 80, George (my brother) and I enlisted in the Navy. After training in Wisconsin and Florida was sent to Okinawa, Anchorage, AK, Winter Harbor, ME and then spent time in Diego Garcia. Was retired in Aug 93 to Boise.
Married Trudi Olsen in 94 and we have enjoyed our life together, no kids but we enjoy our nieces and nephews, and the kids we teach at church.
Mainly worked for the USPS as a Letter Carrier since returning to Boise. They retired me about 5 years ago.
